1. Laugh at them for forgetting to charge their car last night?
2. Tell them to call for an all-electric towtruck?
3. Pull over an offer to help?

It is being reported that the Nissan Leaf that was advertised as getting 100 miles per charge is in reality only getting around 70. How would you like to live in an area like Northern Virginia and stuck in traffic for 2+ hours in the summer heat and your battery dying trying to keep your air conditioner running?

If an electric car is broken... good luck cause there is nothing you can do... BUT the chance of the electric car broken next to the road is very low considering it doesn't have as much moving parts that have wear and tear compared to a gas-powered car... HOWEVER the parts they do have in common will require a mechanic just like any other gas-powered car...

I'd toss a package of AAA's out the window to them.

I'd keep on driving, but not laugh at them.

My original point for starting the poll is that electric cars will run out of juice and leave people stranded. With a gas powered car, someone can provide a gallon of gas to get you to the next station. What do you do when your battery dies??

I'd do the same thing I do when I see any car stranded on the side of the road, call 911 and report a disabled vehicle. Why should an electric car be any different?
