Since when is it the duty of any U.S. Court to "proceed under Ecclesiastical Islamic Law, pursuant to the Qur'an?"
How can a judge who swore an oath to the U.S. Constitution enforce the Qur'an in a circuit court?
Robert, can SOIA file an amicus brief on behalf of Americans?

I bet you thought the US Government would never go broke, I bet you thought Gitmo would be gone by now and all the combatant's would have been tried by now, I bet you thought there would be no more war under Obama, I bet you wear rose colored glasses.

I am a forward thinking man, I do not fear so much for me but I do fear for my children and grand children.

I would hate to see my grand daughter stoned to death some day because some maniac raped her or killed in honor because she made a mistake and had an affair.

Any Gay person should fear Sharia.

How about a little sugar on that abject hatred.

Did you read that..if they don't resolve it then it goes to an "Islamic Judge".
Stays totally out of our US legal system.

Well, according to the order, the Florida judge will not hear the matter. The Judge will allow the parties to try to resolve the matters between themselves, according to Islamic law, and if they cannot do so, they present their matter to a greater body of brothers within the Mosque or Islamic community. If they still cannot resolve the matter, an Islamic judge will make the determination.

From the names, it looks like the parties are all part of the Islamic Education Center of Tampa. I don't really see that a Florida court is going to attempt to apply Islamic law.

The procedures are similar. Florida courts, when a case is set for trial, will order the parties to go to mediation and try to resolve their dispute. If they can't it goes to trial.
