Obama's Libya decision is a speeding ticket compared to Bush/ Cheney's unfounded war in Iraq.
No contest.
Why because it is Obama doing it? We are there for the same reasons basically and the end result will be the same. Funny how you progressives didn't care about Saddam killing the Kurds, but you have found a soft spot for the Libyian people. Is this also because Obama is president? I think so.
This thread is funny! The idea that the LW anti War Dem, Kucinich, blasts Obama on joining into the UN action, is not surprising. He is, after all, anti-war. The funny part, is the RW people who are aligning themselves with the LW Kucinich. I guess it's a case of "any anti-Obama port in a storm".

carpetbombing and murdering innocent civilians in Yemen
carpetbombing and murdering innocent civilians in lybia

continuing the afgan war, even EXPANDING it

gitmo still open, only now we contract out to other foreign countries to waterboard

Not this progressive. I didn't care about the Iraqi people (and neither did you..you just wanted a war)....in fact i STILL don't.
Moreover, my problem with this Libyan involvement hasn't a damn thing to do with whether or not i care about the Libyan people. My problem is the United States picking sides in a civil war when the opposition shouldn't be presumed to be any better than the present government. And as an addendum, has no clue as to who the rebels in Libya are in the first place.

Yea, when the righties start aligning themselves with Dennis Kucinich, you have to laugh.
nobody is aligning with anyone. I think the man knows what he is talking about more than anyone here on CD about how this all works.
