Of course they would. At a continuing smaller wage..........

total BS.The union I worked for has recently and even now is working for additional safety rules that have and will save lives.Do you think work hazards just stop presenting themselves??

Do you think unions are the ONLY people capable of or interested in employee safety?

They are the ones who are directly involved. It is THEIR safety. I don't ask my neighbor to care for my family........
It is common sense to have an association of your peers to look out for your well being.this is called a "union"

The company I work for is extremely safe, we have an entire safety crew dedicated to nothing but RA/QA and employee safety. We have tons of safety regulations and requirements to do our jobs and not a single bit of union influence whatsoever. We all look out for each other and we come together as a group of peers on a regular basis to discuss improving our safety which is already great.

You don't need a labor union to be a safe employee and you don't need a union to work for a safe employer that cares about it's employees.

Washington (all inclusive reds & blues) and Wall Street get to rape, pillage and plunder the American Working Class and possibly destroy the global economy with their gambling junkie casino banking and lack of oversight / regulation. Those who caused and inflicted this economic terrorism and full assault class warfare are all still millionaire / billionaires and Wall Street bonuses continue to increase beyond their already grotesque amounts. But those public sector union members, like my neighbor the postal worker, or my other neighbor the school teacher, this is who we are going to crack down on??? These are the people you call thugs???

The influence of divisive propaganda and staunch ideology are alive and well... As for free, independent, intelligent thought... Not so much

Special: The Billionaire's Tea Party | Link TV

From the 14 points of fascism, fascismusa.com

3. Identification of Enemies/Scapegoats as a Unifying Cause - The people are rallied into a unifying patriotic frenzy over the need to eliminate a perceived common threat or foe: racial , ethnic or religious minorities; liberals; communists; socialists, terrorists, etc.

9. Corporate Power is Protected - The industrial and business aristocracy of a fascist nation often are the ones who put the government leaders into power, creating a mutually beneficial business/government relationship and power elite.

10. Labor Power is Suppressed - Because the organizing power of labor is the only real threat to a fascist government, labor unions are either eliminated entirely, or are severely suppressed.

You don't need a labor union to be a safe employee and you don't need a union to work for a safe employer that cares about it's employees.

Thats the point. Many larger corporations do NOT care about employees.
