Robert de Posada, the former GOP operative behind this fall's aimed at Latinos in Nevada and California, tells The Lookout that he has heard "rumblings" of this movement among national Latino leaders.
"The Tequila Party is a great concept to basically say, 'You know what? This blind support for you is coming to an end,'" De Posada says. "If you are perceived as someone who will never vote for a Republican, then you're screwed," because Democrats will take you for granted, he says.
I think he's right, Latinos are right to want being more independant, not like blacks (overwhelmingly Dems)

you could say the same thing with poor southern whites who vote lock in step republican.

they take them for granted.

id actually make a grander point that all politicans take every vote for granted since your vote in the grand scheme of things means nothing.

a major corporation on my side is more important than a voter in todays world.

nobody gives a damn about joe blow and getting your vote. you have no influence.

koch brothers, george soros, thats different. they have the money and the power.
