I know what I'm going to do. I'm going to turn on every light and every appliance in my house so that I consume as much electricity as humanly possible. Why do I do this, might you ask?
Because you want your electric bill to go up? Be my guest, give more of your money to your local utility company. Why don't you run up your bill even higher by running your heating and air conditioning system together, if possible.

I say really show them damn tree-huggers and go for 24/7/365!

Another suggestion to get back at the nazi treehuggers, open your windows in the winter and blast your furnace to the max. Do the same in the summer with your ac. Buy 20 packs of Christmas lights and have them on 24/7.

We celebrated earlier this week, during an unexpected two hour power outage. I won't be turning off my power and sit in the dark another hour. We have plenty of unplanned "Earth Hours" during the monsoon season in AZ and they are never a reason to celebrate.
Don't do anything. Just ignore the thing. If you have school children, talk to them to find out if their teachers are indoctrinating them to some ultra liberal environmentalist propaganda. Then you can teach your child right and then have a chat with the school principal and teacher about why he/she is not teaching the class subject and injecting personal politics onto the students.
I'm just gonna do what I do every other day. It's just another day, another hour to me
Me too. Play golf, grill steaks, drink wine, and maybe get lucky that evening.
