The Democrats were thrown out of of the House for the actions they TOOK, not for what they didnt do..

Republicans campaigned on lowering the deficits which indeed involves DOING NOTHING.. i'm not happy with their cuts but in order for them to cut, they'd actually have to do less..

How much did the Republicans lower our deficit?

Unless I missed something, I thought the GOP controlled the house.

You heard it, "the people have spoken during the 2010 election, blah, blah, blah......"

Now what do we get? Excuses and nothing! Nothing but excuses!

This is my thinking as well.

"Republicans never offer solutions to many problems." To many libertarian minded people, this is music to the ears in some cases.

I said I wasnt happy with their cuts so far.. But again, in order for them to make cuts to cut the deficits, this would mean LESS to be done.. not more.. Since the GOP opposes tax increases, and tax increase bills originate in the House (per the Constitution, you do know what this is right?) then by not writing new bills they are actually fufilling their platform.

All Bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives; but the Senate may propose or concur with Amendments as on other Bills.
