You know what would be really interesting? To have an extremely poor family when the lottery but instead of having them spend it on worthless, luxuries items, they save it to accumulate wealth and build a networth for future family members. I think that would be the best way to go.

So What you ask? Well, it ain't everyday that "somebody" gets over $300 million richer!

And, you'll have to admit that it has crossed your mind as to what YOU would do with an extra $300 mil

How do you feel about programs such as the HOPE Scholarship? Isn't it a good use of lotto money?

Quote:

The HOPE Scholarship Program (Helping Outstanding Pupils Educationally) created in 1993 under the supervision of Georgia Governor Zell Miller, is a merit-based higher education scholarship that is funded entirely by revenue from the Georgia Lottery and is administered by the Georgia Student Finance Commission (GSFC). As of 2006, more than $3 billion in scholarships had been awarded to more than 900,000 Georgia students.
