I can understand the talking heads of the opinion shows. I really find little to nothing said by O'Reily, Beck, Maddow, Matthews, and others, to be of importance or worth listening to. You can see everything they talk about from regular news outlets that have little bias.

But when they are knowingly lying to their viewers during the news part of the program, thats messed up. NPR, CBS, and others have fired people for knowingly or unknowingly lying.

When was the last time Fox has done that?
When was the last time Fox 'knowingly lied' to their viewers? Your proof, please.

There isn't a damned thing in the link that the OP posted that suggests anything other than Fox has slanted its views, mislead their viewers on purpose, and they know that many of the claims they make are simply not true.

Now, when was the last time Fox has fired anyone for lying to their viewers?

And yes, I've watched beck, I watch fox almost daily. Their bias is quite apparent.
I have heard that Fox has fired reporters for NOT lying to their viewers.

Well, hell, Media Matters said they lie and that is all the proof these people need.

I guess this proves that people are not intelligent enough to listen to a variety of news from different sources and find the unbiased story.

I don't put my full faith in any news outlet to give me unbiased news.

wow, yet another blogspot "source". How can some of you not realize how foolish you look when you link to garbage like this? The irony is that most of you are ripping on one source and then backing it up with something a hundred times worse. A blog is someone's opinion. It's like the modern day version of the editorial in the newspaper. Just some slug sitting at a computer typing out whatever pops in their tiny little brain. Kinda like what most people here do... and hopefully nobody believes a damn thing they read in this section.

"At that time, I have to admit, that I went on TV on Fox News and publicly engaged in what I guess was some rather mischievous speculation about whether Barack Obama really advocated socialism, a premise that privately I found rather far-fetched."

Did he, or did he not say this in the speech on the boat?

Not really. All a reasonably thinking person needs is to look at the audience.

We've been through this before. Unlike you, I don't need to be led to my conclusions. I read a variety of sources, none of which is Media Matters, and then form an opinion. I'd never even heard of Media Matters until YOU started harping on it in every post.

I do watch Stewart when I can catch his comedy show. He does a good job showing Fox News for what it is.
