Judge blocks Wisconsin's anti-union law | Reuters

The Republicans said that under the previous ruling the law could go forward, so the judge issued another order that made it crystal clear that its implementation is to stop immediately until the case can be heard.

I'm not familiar enough with Wisconsin law to know the arguments of both sides.

Why bother with a legislature when we can simply have judges make the law?

The Judge who is a mother of a Union activist actually did this again? I am shocked.

There are a few steps to be taken before a Wisconsin bill becomes law. A judge put a temporary restraining order on one of the steps (publication by the Secretary of State), so the Republicans bypassed that step and got the next step (Legislative Reference Bureau) to publish. The judge then made a ruling against these shenanigans making it crystal clear that the bill is not law until published by the Secretary of State.

Tell the judge to see what Obama is doing with the healthcare law and drilling moratoriums.

Tell Obama about violating "process" when he launches attacks on Libya without the consent and approval of the Congress.

Pro-liberty judge

The republicans broke numerous laws trying to force through their attack on america. The judge should have thrown it out, but maybe just stall until the republicans get thrown out of office.

The law doesn't really matter in this case. It's only a means to an end. The governor of Wisconsin is hell bent on union busting so his Big Business bosses can continue to maximize profits while screwing the middle class.

Yes but she also banned the Secretary of State from publishing it, which means she is essentially creating law as she goes along rather than enforcing it..
