Unless you can provide the exact height before and after collapse and the exact elapsed time for the collapse from which it could be calculated whether the collapse exceeded aceleration due to gravity it is not "AN INCONTROVERTIBLE FACT" but baseless speculation.

Even if the planes could have demolished the twin towers in the short space of time that they did, blacksmiths could not do it in that time, what about the third tower that did not get hit but collapsed much later in the same spectacular fashion?

All I could find was times, you also need the exact distance covered which is not the height of the building, the pile was considerably higher than street level.

The video of the towers falling is all the explanation that is needed to debunk the ignorant conspiracy theories. Show me ONE single video of a professional implosion where the building falls from the top to the bottom. Doesn't happen. If all the explosions at the bottom were detonating an implosion, the top stories would not have fallen through the other stories, peeling away the sides as they did. The bottom stories would have started collapsing simultaneously just like they always do in an implosion. WTC7 did not fall on its own footprint either. The overhead picture on the conspiracy sites could only have been taken days after 9/11, in which construction crews would have cleared the streets for equipment to come through. Thats why there is a nice 4 street square in the overhead shot of WTC7, not because it fell on its on footprint. Even real implosions don't fall that neatly.

Another thing the conspiracy believers will need to explain is how do planned explosions make the buildings fall faster than gravity would? The laws of physics tell us that any force exerted downward would be accompanied by an equal force exerted upward. Do you think it was some evil Martian Destructo-Ray that somehow operates outside the laws of physics?
