It has been revealed that Gov Walker's Admin claim that the Wisconsin capitol building suffered $7 mil in damage during the protests was based on a single-page, five line estimate that included no details of how the number was arrived at.

In other words, one of Walker's numerous lick-spittles pulled the figure out of his ass.

The "damage" seems to consist entirely of gummy tape residue left on the marble walls by the activist's posters.

For the record, the Painter's Union has volunteered to "fix" the damage (i.e., clean the walls)- for free!

There was damage done in Madison. Damage to the State and to Walker's ego. He his hurting in finding out the people are about to replace him ASAP, because of the damage he caused. Several Repub Senators are feeling the same pain.

I heard that they overestimated the damage (gee, goverment getting the numbers wrong. Who would have thought?) and that the real total came to about $300,000. Most of it was pieces chipped off of the marble columns.
