The Democratic has found itself in an interesting situation now that it has elected a Democrat President who ran on a platform of Hope and Change but has turned out to be a lot more of the same. He's backed away from many of the big campaign promises that he made during the election, he's offended many of his supporters with choices that he's made and most recently many feel that he's started an illegal war with a country that posed no threat to us and didn't attack us. Given those facts what is your opinion of the Democrat party?

I loved Democrats from Clinton era, but Obama's Democrats not really, too liberal and they didn't study economics, a lawyer can't manage an economy correctly.

The party of whack jobs, loonies, malcontents, and the unemployed.

It is sad to see what has happened to the Democratic party, as they used to stand for the middle class worker, rather than gay marriage and legalizing pot.

The POTUS is the face of the Democratic party and he's also the product of the Democratic party, I'm not sure I see the problem. The POTUS was elected by the Democratic party and I'd like to know what people's opinion of the party is today. Feel free to find another thread to read if you don't like it.

The democratic party is in crisis right now. They have no leader or a psuedo-leader. They have no conviction and not direction. They are deceiving the masses and are losing ground rapidly.

Since their inception in 1828 the Democrat Party has been an extremely destructive force in the US and always on the wrong side of every issue. They fought to preserve slavery, fought against every civil rights bill introduced, and they have nothing but contempt for all minorities and women to this day (as evidenced by their much touted Affirmative Action program). The Democrat Party continues its destructive agenda by blocking every means to obtain or produce more energy.

I agree, this is at least the 10th bash Obama thread on the first page alone on this forum.

I disprove because the Democrats are nothing more than Reagan era Republicans.
