Unintended consequence of Citizen United decision that republicans loved?

But, how about the fact that it might be rich individuals supporting the democratic cause while corporations supporting the republican cause?

Hint: In last Presidential elections, Obama had a distinctive edge over McCain (53% to 45%) with households making more than 200K.

Given to Unions ,
collected in dues ,
then donated back to Obama campaign ?
I am embarrassed that my country spends so much on elections .

Why would the POTUS need a gun???

People, organizations and business will give.

Just like they will to the Republicans. (many give to both sides)

Not at all.

We will just have to give a little more and be more creative with what we have.

How can you possibly think that he is the least bit squeemish about spending other people's money? Honestly...that's all he's done his entire life.

You're just figuring out now that most of that is probably given in some questionable way? That's how politicians get elected--both dems and republicans. It's also why a 3rd party guy, or a guy like Ron Paul, who doesn't have the connections, can't get elected.
