Just think of all the short term part time no future, no benefits jobs he'll be creating. And the big advertising bucks infused into CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS etc.

And they say he's not job focused.....

Republicans could easily have a billion also if they had ONE STRONG candidate. As it is the donations are divided among- how many- a dozen or so weak candidates?

Also, it's way too early for panic! Obama has a billion dollar GOAL, he does not have a billion dollars as of today and he may never reach that goal.

If voters are so informed that the winner is the one who spends the most, then it is clear that we have the best government bribery can buy.

People are going hungry in America and this idiot is spending money that is not his.

We need to call him out on everything he does because he is a total scam artist and I would not put it past him to steal, lie and cheat his way through the election.
You really jump to asinine conclusions, eh?

And our government will be shut down because they can't cut back 30 billion????????? Ridiculous waste.

How many times do we need to hear candidates spit out the same tired lies?

Is there a maximum limit for how much one can spend on a campaign?

[arguably, spending one million is gluttonous, shameful, and suspicious...]

Gee, it'll sure be interesting to see how the Repugs run a campaign without any money.....REPUBLICAN Rep. Michelle Bacmann broke a record for Representative campaigns with the funds she raise in '08...(some was even from INSIDE the country).

...I'm sure the repugs in here will agree that was gluttonous, shameful, suspicious...RIGHT!??

it further validates my statement that 99 percent of the voting public has no impact, and its that elite 1 percent that will decide the elections.

i used to have civic pride that voting was something worthwhile and it was important. thats a tired old argument by the clueless.

i read a political article saying obama is lining up donors to raise 700,000 each to have 300 mill in the war chest ready to go. thats under 500 people.

again. your 5-10 dollar, 100 dollar donation or whatever to your little gop candidate or dem candidate is irrelevant. you have no effect on who wins, so quit pretending your vote actually means something. thats the simple truth of it.
