U.S. May Consider Ground Troops In Libya

But, didn't Obozo say "No U.S. ground troops in Libya"? Then why is it being considered?

President Barack Obama has said repeatedly there will be no U.S. troops on the ground in Libya, although there are reports of small CIA teams in the country. Secretary of Defense Robert Gates told lawmakers last week that there would be no American ground troops in Libya "as long as I am in this job."

Weeks before the "no-fly zone" scam started hundreds of Spec Forces were on the ground in Eastern Libya, a couple weeks ago 12 CIA guys were publicly put in, offshore we have at least 4,000 Marines publicly announced. Now we have NATO claiming they are out of planes and here at home the FBI is warning Libyans are gonna get us. Nice we get another false flag 9/11 this time by the Libyan branch of Al CIAda that will produce the need to invade Libya ala Iraq ala Afganistan. Same song different country. Its about Project For a New American Century, oil, World domination and Global Gov't.!

If we put American ground troops in Libya will Secretary of Defense Robert Gates resign?

Look you Obummer supports: The man has no clue what he is doing, in regards to military and international affairs. He campaigned on the promise Gitmo was going to be closed and the "detainee's" were going to get civilian trials. After being in office, the buffon has finally come to realize he could not do either. Like it or not, hate Bush or not, there is an issue of NATIONAL SECURITY. And Obummer has finally realized this.

Now this fiasco in Libya. He said no ground troops. Yeah, ok, they were already on the ground, long before we bombed Libya. Now, he will backpeddle, fairly soon, when those Marines hit the shore (Hey, to the shores of Tripoli). He will make some sort of excuse, such as, "I've reconsidered and the proper course of action, for humanitarian reasons and saving of innocent lives, it was more prudent to send in ground forces. However, it will only be for several weeks."

You Obummer supporters had the wool pulled over your eyes from the beginning. You elected an inexperienced, inept, ignorant, pie in the sky fool. And he is failing miserably. However, you will elect him again.

Why don't you address the topic, not about who reported it.

No Gates made it very clear before we got involved that he was aginst us getting involved even i the n fly zone. He also made it clear since that he sees no national security reason even now,. Yes :i do believe he will resign if Oabma even thinks of ground troops and you can be impeachment heraings would start. This is now we really got into vietnam. Advisor then JFK put in US ground troops. It reminds one also as in vietnam there was no end game beyond talks and we madeup the stradgey as events happened.

I agree with you somewhat that Obama was a desperate vote cast by an America terrified after 8 years of Bush. And sadly McCain/Palin offered absolutely NO solutions. In fact who Democrat or Republican offers feasible solutions right now instead of trying to distract the masses with irrelevant, and borderline insane crap like trying to prove his citizenship and whether or not Jesus thinks gays should marry? Those knocking the Obama voters of 2008 ask yourselves what the opposition gave America to vote for as far as solutions or common sense?
