What an incredible joke being played on us all.
It's gonna take a BigTop and three rings if they ever really get serious.

Can't argue with you there. You definitely have a point. I was just trying to stay positive, lol.
I couldn't agree more, the POTUS and all 535 members of Congress should be ashamed of themselves and their juvenile behavior, responsible adults would've had this done long before the deadline loomed.

Couldn't agree more. This should have been completed way before September 30, 2010 when the fiscal year ends. The dems had complete control of both houses AND the White House, and the didn't do their job. It took the repubs to get control of the house in order to get the senate to act.
And I think the dems didn't pass a normal budget for the previous year either. They passed Continuing Resolutions for that year also.

I guess I'm still naive enough to find the difference between what we were taught about government in school vs. the sad reality of government today depressing and unlikely to be chane in my lifetime.
Should be interesting when we start dealing with Paul Ryans plan for next year. These guys can't give up 37 billion.... it should get interesting. And it seems that both sides of the aisle, on CD anyway, realize the need to cut deeply.
