Easter eggs have NOTHING to do with religion whatsoever (sorry, can't make the connection between Jesus's revival and a bunny with a basket of eggs) , so I'm thinking as well, what the hell is she teaching that they are "spheres"??? Clearly they are not!
The entire eggs and bunnies thing has absolutely nothing to do with the Christian celebration. When I was in school it was politically incorrect to discuss the religious significance of the holiday but the bunnies and eggs were a big deal and the holiday was celebrated in that manner (same as Santa and reindeer at Christmas). Its hard to believe its getting so that these holidays that were once big deals. in their religious and secular contexts, cannot even be mentioned in public without people being offended.
I don't believe the Groundhog can predict when spring will arrive, should I be offended every February 2nd?
Why should there be discussions about Easter or Easter eggs in ANY public school period????
and why should there be discussions about the Muslim religion if you want to talk about that. I don't think this is about discussing Easter, but about what the traditional hunt is called and what those things we hard boil before we color them are called. No one is talking about discussing religion escept you. It was simply a statement, we can have a thus week but not another week.

I guess it's just part of learning about the holidays in the society in which you live.
Do you want to ban all holidays from schools ?
You want kids growing up not knowing or celebrating any holidays ?
