But, golf is the game of kings, isn't it? So, it's the game played by leaders of nations. The President is the leader of a nation. Ergo, golf is the appropriate game for a President to play. Clearing brush on a ranch in Texas is a good thing to do. It shows a solid work ethic. It's probably a good opportunity to think. And one thing about clearing brush, no matter how much you clear, there's always more brush to clear out.
Do you also remember the Left/media howling about Bush's time on the golf course, especially in a time of war when troops are fighting and dying? Bush gave up golf because of it, because the media and the Left tried to make such hay about it.
Haven't heard that yet about obama, have you?
The Left is silent, drowned in their hypocrisy.
Notice that gas is four bucks a gallon but there aren't stories galore in the newspapers about how working poor folk can't afford gas to get to their six jobs? Where did the outrage go?
It would be so much easier if he was President of China.
The United States is not an easy country. We have democratically elected representatives who all want their voice heard on behalf of their constituents. We have to work much harder than other countries to make our system work, but when it does, there's no other country that can do the things we're capable of. And even though we make mistakes, I'm proud to be an American. It would be easier to be in China where decisions are made behind closed doors, without having to worry about your say being heard. And maybe their economy is improving in part because of that. But I wouldn't want any other system than the one we've had for over 200 years!
