I want all the freebies I can get. I want the government to monitor everyone. Cameras everywhere. if you don't own a gun, you gotta have a sign in front if your house so I don't get shot trying to steal what is rightfully mine from you. HUD homes must be located in rich neighborhoods.

I'd live in the liberal bit where it's livable, have my factories and refineries in the libertarian bit where I can pollute till the mutant cows come home, and my post office box in the conservative bit so I don't have to pay any taxes.

The liberal nation would be a communist nation.

My guess is the libertarian nation would prosper.

They'd make big money off the intolerance of both parties and wouldn't put up with the armies of leeches that adhere to both.

I've seen his actions in Congress.

They really need to make a little Libertarian enclave in western Alaska or something. Libertarians have always had the sniper on the roof position where they can attack current policies and government while not really ever having any of their own examples to taint their beliefs. A lot of them are still in theory and haven't really been played out. I would be really interested to see what strengths and weaknesses a libertarian country has.

You don't have to look far at all.

This would be the United States until about say 1914 or so.

During that ~140 year history, it defeated the world's most powerful military 2x, grew from 13 states to 48, became the #1 industrial power in the world, and became the decisive power in WWI. During this libertarian period the USA experience unprecedented growth and prosperity brought to the common person unseen in the world in such a short time.

So it's been tested quite well. It just takes a little knowledge of history to understand.

Cool that most like me prefer the Libertarian lifestyle to either the Conservative or Liberal which both are restrictive to freedom and the human spirit in their own ways.

Sounds like my kind of place! As a poster earlier on said, I hope they have beaches.
