What would life be like in your new nation?

Would you trade with the other two new nations or would you not establish diplomatic relations with them?

Ten years later: Would the other two new nations still be around or would they have collapsed?

It would be interesting to see how the C-D community would split up if given the option to move to their "perfect political situation".

I'll take the Libertarian nation (boy, I hope they have some beaches). Yes to friendly relations with ALL neighbors.

Sign me up for the libertarian nation. I want to be free to live my life and build my business as I see fit. I want a govt whose sole purpose was to protect property rights and protect the flow of commerce. If you want to eat, you better get to work.

I don't care what you do in your bedroom, but don't come crying to me to pay for what happens as a result of what you did there.

Sounds like Ron Paul would be your leader (if, as a libertarian, you CHOOSE to have one! )

Honestly, they would probably all suck in some way or another due to the political leanings of each. I reluctantly chose liberal nation, but ideally I'd live in a nation with a variety of political beliefs. Oh wait, I already do!

Imo, it would be insane for the three countries to not peacefully trade with each other.

I think in ten years, each nation would have problems, some problems in the same areas and also their own unique problems. I'm not sure any would collapse in such a short time unless they became absurdly extreme.

yes to trade with the other nations.

who knows if the others would be around in 10 years, i figure i'de be too busy enjoying my liberty, and working by choice with other fellow libertarians to better our country. it's all about choices, rather than threats and requirements.

The question of trade and relations with other nations would not even have to be considered in a Libertarian nation. Libertarians believe in free trade and believe in leaving other nations to themselves - no interfering with other nations business.

Definitely the liberal nation.

I wouldn't mind paying high taxes if I got great services and everyone had equal rights to marry whoever they wanted!

But one favor.... please don't give us California. I'd rather have Florida.

When the liberal area went broke from trying to support everyone with no taxpayers they'd likely even have to pay moving costs (can't expect people to pay that themselves, can we?) to move them to the other 2.

Eventually, those areas would just be absorbed into the Conservative nation when the rich people there decided to get more and more liberal in order to help out the poor in those areas.
