I found this interesting. The President's income has decreased. He's also getting a refund.
Death and taxes........same as it ever was, for everybody.

Of course, Obama could return that refund and pay more if he really wanted to help America the way he claims the wealthy do. No one needs tax law in place to donate toward paying down the debt.

If you ask me, those who push through redistributive wealth agendas should first donate every dime and asset to the US treasury. Has Obama done that? No, and neither will any other Progressive because they are hypocrits.

Why doesn't Obama spread the wealth around?

Don't fall off that high horse. Hypocrisy runs rampant in any political being. Each and every single one of them say one thing with the left hand while shuffling with the right.

Why didn't he volunteer to pay at the Clinton era tax rates ( you know before the much despised Bush tax cuts for rich greedy people like him)?
God knows our Treasury Department could use every extra dollar.

Would have been a good public relations ploy.

Lead by example, Mr. Obama. Do you think he or his tax preparer used any available loopholes?

When you make over $1 million as a result of "writing" a book (about overcoming the obstacles of being African-American in a nation of Affirmative Action and reverse discrimination!), you are exactly the type that the tax system is set up to protect.

It's us serf-level workers who get to work 80 hours a week in incredibly stressful jobs, and have big chunks taken out of our pay to finance the insanity of Washington as well as the Social Security system that we have been told can't "afford" us, who get nailed by the tax system.

And as Obama stated in his last glorious speech, we'll have to do away with any of those deductions that might be available to the working class. Most of them are already gone, but let's take away everything just in case. Somehow I'll bet the most profitable Big Businesses, and the richest people in America, will still have all the deductions and breaks they need. As one famous rich woman once said, "Taxes? Those are for the LITTLE people!"

Perhaps for the same reason that Republicans who opposed the stimulus were the first in line to demand their state's fair share?

So, Obama's as much of a hypocrite as a con?

No doubt.

Obama probably did a lot of **** that would raise red flags for the average American.

Hell, he appointed head of the IRS someone who didn't even pay his own taxes for God's sake!
