That's because we are intelligent enough to settle our differences without shooting each other.

Yep, a healthcare that looks after everyone, regardless of how rich or poor you are. What a dreadful way to behave huh?

A European.

Now let's see....

America is a country of morbidly obese slobs who think that a drive-in McDonald's is the hight of culinary delight. It's a country where a huge percentage of the population are unable to string a sentence together. Where a large percentage of the population don't even have a passport. Where many people can't even point to their own capital city on a map never mind another country. Where many people think that the height of fashion is to wear a baseball cap with the peak the right way around. It's also a country where 85% of the population believe that animals talk, the whole world was once flooded, all the animals on the planet fitted into a small boat and live their lives based on the teachings of a 2000 year old book of mythological stories written by ignorant desert goat-herders.

How's that!

Actually no EU country has an outright ban. But we don't live in the wilderness so whats the point. Only farmers and gamekeepers really require guns.

LOLOLOLOL. The US govt should be called washington.plc considering how it bows to the will of corporations and doesn't represent its people.

See the riots here in the UK recently? What about France, the scandinavian countries or Switzerland (with its direct democratic system?) Switzerland has the most democratic govt in the whole world! I could go on but is it worth it?

Right now, 1 Euro is 1.46 Dollars, not the other way around. Very strong currency. Failed? No.

They have banned guns in most countries.

Good for them. Much lower crime rates.

They have socialist "universal" healthcare, they have driven away almost all major corporations, they have created an unfriendly market for the private sector, their economy is tanking worse than America,

Actually, that is false. Our economy went down the drain. Not theirs.

many of the EU countries no longer have functional governments (Belgium, Italy, etc.), the Muslims are starting to take over Europe (they even have Sharia Courts now),

No, they don't. That's a lie.

they have school uniforms in some of their public schools,

Huh? What's your point here? So do we...LOL...

their government funded higher education system is of absolute **** quality, they have to pay higher taxes, and they lack proper freedom of speech.

No, it's actually better. Ask any College professor. They will tell you that they are much better in Math, Physics etc.

Higher taxes but less expenses. I suppose you never paid for College ( quite obvious) , doctors etc.

And that's just scratching the surface. By all means, please add to the list.
see above.

Who cares...it's Europe.

And I can see why banning Burkhas in France could be considered liberal.

...oh wait, it isn't.

When I was in Europe, it seemed like they were happy, healthy, and hard-working.

Not angry and full of bs.

I've already got my utopia. Just waiting on the retirement date. But there IS a question about the location that you'd more than likely be interested in...

Is New Mexico part of the US?

1. We?

2. If you don't think the OP is a lot of angry bs, then obviously you haven't been around much, either.

Poverty-stricken ghettos, drug corners, high crime, small city and towns with decaying Main Streets, huge Wal-Marts with acres of parking, crummy public transportation, a railroad system that is years behind Europe's, people working longer hours and having less vacation time off and living shorter lifespans.

There are some things about the US I like better than Europe, however. I do not want to leave, but I want to see some changes.
Couple of things, I live in Europe and I always feel safer here or in Asia than I do while in the US.
Many US soldiers and retired folks don't want to return to the US to raise their families because it's too violent. Imagine that.
I've been in Berlin 3 times in the past 6 months and drat, I missed all of the sharia law stuff. I guess I wasn't looking since it's so prevalent.

What's wrong with school uniforms? I'd love to see every kid in a uniform and have the old school, conservative respect students once had for learning.
This whole thread is a little weak... I agree..

But any stat can be twisted.... It all depends on what information they are using... One of the critea they use for health care is access..... well, if you believe in a FOR PROFIT healthcare system why would you care about access.... can't afford it .....to bad

so you can't just sit and say America has the worst healthcare or England has the best... it's all about what scale your basing it on..

And as far as Muslims.... um, no I do not have the same feeling with Christians... Christians did not fly planes into the twin towers on 9-11 in the name of christianity... Christians are not blowing themsleves up along with crows of innocent people in the name of christianity...

Go to google, you tube ect.. and look up what the muslim immigration into europe has done for them.. Look at malmo sweeden and read about the problems they have had..

I used to have friends from turkey who were about as muslim as I was a catholic... not much at all... so I never thought much about it

But now I am older.. I read alot more, ive travelled... ect. until the people who consider themselves Muslim, and are non extremists, start doing something themselves about the Muslim extremists who have taking that religion hostage.. I will not trust them as a group.. Individually... sure, I always treat people as individuals..

Not ALL Germans were bad during WWII.... In fact most would probably not in anyway be in alignment with the Nazi Party... but it was the nazi party who had control over the country of Germany and it was german people who were apethetic to the changes that were brought on in the mid 30's and that eventually lead to one of the darkest moments in our world history...

I 'am not looking to crucify Muslims but I do think they should be targeted for extra security scrutiny at airports so we can stop policing ourselves to the point of this ridiculous searching of 6 year olds and grandmothers..

And I think there should be a ban on immigration from muslim countries.
