It's interesting how many people in the poll are against the patriot act, though most i'm sure support the republicans/tea party, who voted almost unanimously for it's renewal recently

I'm opposed to ANY government contrived device for the protection, security, promotion... well, insert your own cause ...here..., that remotely smacks of 'Hi, we're from the government. We're here to help.'

Any of the reasons sighted above is suitable for opposition.
