"So what would happen if Obama was proven to have not been born in America?"
Republicans would become so overcome with joy and happiness that more gay Republicans would come out of the closet to be welcomed into the loving arms of their Tea Party brethren.
Not to mention, John McCain's father was a 4 star admiral
in the U.S. Navy. McCain could have been born anywhere,
and still would be considered a U.S. citizen.
When McCain decided to run for Pres. there was an issue (raised by the Dems) that McCain was born in Panama while his dad was stationed at a base there. The Dem birthers dug up the idea that he was not eligible for presidency because he was born in a civilian hospital which was off base.
The final verdict was that since the Canal Zone at the time was a US territory he was, in fact, eligible.
Nothing to do with the fact that his father was a Naval Officer.

Uh, no. The senate had to pass a special resolution making McCain an NBC.

Other than that, not much.

I think this is a rude post. Not only that, it doesn't even make sense.

I don't know about that, but his father was active duty
military 24/7 - his wife the spouse of 24/7 active duty. I don't even know why they would bring up whether it was a civilian hospital or not. His mere presence in another
part of the world, was a direct order of his own government. Who comes up with these lawyer type
explanations ....oh, lawyers

You think that there are not gay Republicans still in the closet?
Political power makes some people feel more secure. Secure people probably come out more than insecure ones.
The thread premise is a flame.
