I will do NOTHING for earth day except my average day. I don't do anything based on ecofreako movements that seek to pat themselves on the back for being earth friendly.

Doesn't have to be extreme at all.
Just don't litter, be clean in public and actually do what we should do daily anyway, right?
Any strange stuff beyond that I would of course agree with your view on.
I just realized that today (April 22) was earth day. What are you doing to celebrate the event?
I figured I'd go home and fire up the chain saw. I have some timber I need to drop anyway, this seems like a better time then most. Afterwards, I'll fire up the dirt bike and put some miles on in the woods.
Yeah, it's mindless symbolism...but that pretty much sums up earth day in the first place.
Apparently this mindless symbolism is enough to inspire in you equally mindless and passive aggressive behavior. So I guess Earth Day says as much about its staunch opposition as it does its supporters.

I have to give a compliment where it's due: This alone puts you head and shoulders above the rest of the lot in this thread. If you don't really care, no one will make you care. If you do, that's cool. Why does proactive behavior inspire such ugliness in people?
To me everyday is earthday. Always try to not pollute or litter. Wish everyone the best.
Happy Good Friday to you all as well.
I also don't pollute. I keep my trash in the car until I reach my destination and throw it in the garbage there. I use the mulch feature on my mower and always pick up any garbage that blows onto my lawn. I do this because I'm a responsible adult, not because of earth day.
