Nazis can have a rally, Pro-abortionists can have a rally, Black Panthers can have a rally but no rally if you want to protest Islamic Supremicists. The message we are sending to our enemies: Intemidation works. Threaten violence and we will back down and imprison our own people. We will censor cartoons. If violence breaks out we won't blame those who commit the acts of violence we will blame those who "provoked" them, as if Muslims are children who can't possibly be expected to control themselves.
So rather than expect the muslims to obey laws against violence, they censor him? How backwards is that? And what does it say about the muslims that they outright expect them to freak?! If violence did occur, they alone are responsible for their reactions to him excersicing his free speech. This is beyond sickening.

nobody took his 1st amendment rights away, he was free to speak, just not wherever he wanted. Do you remember when Bush had a public rallies and he'd herded protesters, wanting to exercise their 1st amendment rights, into pens miles away from the rally? Welcome to Bush's Facism!
Pens? Herding? What ARE you talking about?

Free Speech Denied - "Protest Zones" Disgrace Our Constitution

"Det. John Ianachione testified in county court that the Secret Service had instructed local police to herd into the enclosed area "people that were there making a statement pretty much against the president and his views."

Yea, but in your case, i wouldn't do it. I'd hate to see someone get their ass kicked by an environmentalist. Wouldn't be a good look.

Besides, i'm trying to remember the last time an environmentalist burned a flag.

Why would you feel sorry for the Arabs there? They don't feel sorry for themselves. And they're doing quite well. Probably better than people do where you come from.

I was born in Dearborn, worked in Dearborn, currently volunteer in Dearborn, have relatives in Dearborn, and dated a girl who lived in Dearborn - and it's a great city. I've never had one bad incident in the city...it's culturally rich and diverse. I love it and, whoa, I'M CATHOLIC!

Some of you guys are so damn racist it's unbelievable.

Bush was a Democrat?

Free speech zone - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

During the 1988 Democratic National Convention, the city of Atlanta set up an official "free speech area"[5] so the convention would not be disrupted. A pro-choice demonstrator against an Operation Rescue group said Atlanta Mayor Andrew Young "put us in a free-speech cage."[6] "Protest zones" were used during the 1992 and 1996 United States presidential nominating conventions[7]
