A lot of Liberals try to say "McCarthiesm" was all paranoia, but let's REALLY look at how Communists were inflitrating the US media, Universities, and Washington DC.

Media: We have Bob Sheifer, Dan Rather.... all from the McCarthy era and all Communist sympathisers.

Universities: There was a survey recently done thaty 9 out 10 college professors are left-wing extremists. One recent example of ex-UC porfessor Ward Churchill. This guy calls victims of 9/11 "Nazis"... how much more Commie do you wnat to go??

Washington DC: we have Ted Kennedy (a self-proclaimed quasi-Communist), Nancy Pelosi (a de facto Commie), Hillary (a quasi-Socialist), Chuck Schummer (a quasi-Facist Commie type), Harry Reid (clearly a Commie)... just some examples.

So really was McCarthy wrong when he said "Communists are infiltrating the US government and media"? I guess not.

That is funny! People here are OK with Communists speaking out, BUT if the American Communists had their way, would anyone have any freedoms???

So if you like Communism and support it, is it not true that you do NOT support freedom???

As long as the info is out there, he can say wahetever he wants. But if he is influenciating people with Communist ideas, he needs to be exposed and not pretent he is some pro-freedom guy. After all Communism is tyranny.

So why do people LIKE tyranny???

Are you not afraid of Communism? If the US was Communist, would this board even exist?? You'd be going to jail for posting anything that would go against what the government is doing. Check out Communist China where even Yahoo helped the government arrest anyone who said anything the gov't did not like.

Anyone in favor of Moore and Depp moving to Cuba say "aye".

It is shocking how people this day and age after seeing what Communism does all over the world can support Communism. That goes to show you the level of indoctrination that America's kids receive in public schools.

I would not be surprised.

But you know what surprises me?? How ignorant Johnny Depp is. Does he even know who Che Guevara is?? Does he know Che executed or ordered executed 14,000 Cubans and oppressed, tortured, and jailed thousands more???

Thank you for your post Marine. Thank you for your service to America! We thank you.

I am sorry you are serving our country while a moron like Johnny Depp wears a picture of an anti-freedom guy like Che Guevara!!

Wow, that is some weird logic going on there.

People who wear those shirts are just stupid and ignorant college students who are easily manipulated by their so-called professors who have an agenda. They'll grow up eventually.

Why do I have a feeling that 50 years from now, people will be wearing Bush shirts?

There was an article recently written that 10 out of 10 surveys that find 9 out of 10 college professors to be left-wing extremists are a complete joke.

The only two words from Churchill's 9/11 essay that anybody ever heard of are "little Eichmann's" and you didn't even remember those correctly. Maybe you should actually read the essay sometime. Maybe a lot of people should. How much more knee-jerk reactionary do you want to go?

Yeah, just like you'll see a lot of people wearing Tailgunner Joe McCarthy, Augusto Pinochet, and Shah of Iran t-shirts. Ferdinand Marcos anyone? Anastasio Somoza?

I actually saved my "bomb the Ayatollah" T-shirt from back in early 1979. However it lacks the quality it once had without the Steve Dahl parody, "Ayatollah" sang to the tune of "My Sharonna" playing in the back ground.

I think they've started the McCarthy shirts already.

C'mon. Churchill went over the line with his rant. Why the need to insult the 3,000 innocent people who were murdered? He could have easily said something less offensive and gotten his point across. Had I lost a loved one, I would be insulted by what he said and probably beaten the s.hite out of him had I met him.
