But Ron fully believes it. Regardless, he shouldn't be giving ANY legitimacy to that. NONE! Again, would he give legitimacy to Americans blowing up Mexican buildings and killing innocent people because of their illegal immigration? If he says no, he is a flaming hypocrit.
No, there is a huge difference between supporting or advocating something and just recognizing the facts.
Show me where he supported blowing up buildings on 911.
Ron is no hypocrite. You just need to stop putting words in his mouth.
Ron Paul should shut his mouth. He is always spewing that crap. Having a base in SA is NO reason to kill over 3,000 innocent people and Ron Paul needs to stop giving legitimacy to that notion. With that type of thinking, then it should be ok in his mind to go to Mexico and kill thousands of their people because their country supports illegal entry into the US.
El Oh El. Do you know what "blowback" is? Do you even care to understand the underlying causes of world events or do you prefer to take things at face value and then overreact to them? Do you believe we should still be in Afghanistan? Do you think we should have invaded and should still be in Iraq? Do you think we should be in Libya? What's next, Syria? Egypt? Yemen? When does it end? When will it ever end? Or should we simply stop kicking the hornet's nest and cut our losses?
But I'd imagine, noting your ignorant comment, that you think we should keep meddling in world affair's and kicking the hornet's nest. You keep kicking the hornet's nest and you'll keep getting stung.
Here's another thing I don't understand, especially from conservatives. When someone says, for instance welfare is inefficient and doesn't work, no one equates blaming that government failure with "blaming America." There they can rightly separate America from the government.
Yet when truth speakers like Ron Paul rightly blame the government for misdeeds and actions in the middle east that may have lit a fire under extremist's neocons trip all over themselves to say he's "blaming America."
Quote:
In discourse about public affairs, words matter much more than most people appreciate. We live immersed in language so twisted and abused, in part by the design of interested parties and in part by the sloth of inattentive speakers and listeners, that we often fail to notice or object to linguistic miscarriages that pass for intelligent expression. The examples are legion, but here I have in mind a particular turn of phrase that American conservatives, especially neocons, have employed in recent years as a counterstrike against critics of U.S. foreign and defense policy: They describe such critics as “blaming America” or sometimes as “blaming America first” for attacks against this country or its citizens abroad.
Thus, for example, those who fault U.S. Middle East policies for creating the conditions that caused Muslim fanatics to attack Americans, both at home and overseas, are said to be blaming America for what the policy’s defenders’ take to be the unprovoked acts of terrorists bent on imposing Sharia on the United States, destroying this country’s freedoms, or attaining another such farfetched objective

Interesting what Paul Ron says. US keeps many bases abroad, and no such atrocity ever happened before, including during the Korean war, Vietnam or Japan (WW2). Now let's assume that some Muslims were indeed upset by the American military presence in SA. How did 9/11 help them get rid of the US presence? Actually, since 2001 the American presence spiked up...So how do Arabs explain that?
