Seems when it comes to islam America has a double standard (Baghdad, soldiers)

Seems the right to free speech and to protest only go so far here in America.

It's OK for a church group like the Westboro Baptist church to demonstrate at the funerals of our fallen combat soldiers...

-but-

It's not OK for the pastor of a Florida church to plan a demonstration in front of an islamic mosque.

The ruling came after Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad testified that his department had received information about serious threats made against Jones from residents, arguing that his protest could lead to violence if allowed.

So is this the new trick of muslims to silence the planners of demonstrations against islam?

The KKK isn't allowed to host Klan rallies in Harlem for the same reason.

Florida ain't exactly Baghdad. If the Westies can preach their repulsive hatred, this nutball cab burn his Koran and shout his silliness.

i certainly don't think he should be arrested, but somebody should slap some commen sense into him.

we STILL HAVE SOLDIERS OVER THERE, and there is no reasonable explanation for "empowering " the nutjobs they might encounter.

the world is bigger than terry jones.

i actually blame the media for covering it, since they COULD just ignore it if they wanted to- and god knows they ignore a lot of what goes on in this country.
