Yeah, I was home from work early yesterday and got a chance to tune into Glen Beck. I wasn't feeling well and needed a few chuckles (OK, MORE than a few..LOL).
He really spanked the people who are so focused on the birth certificate thing. Funny as hell !
Why are you amazed? The polls show the issue is a sore point for millions of Americans. When the latest number to out, 38% say they are sure he was born here....THAT is a huge red flag for obama.
. Fifty-seven percent of Republicans, 68% of Independents, and 85% of Democrats believe that the president "probably" or "definitely" is a native-born citizen.
A full 41% of Republicans think that Obama was "definitely" or "probably" born outside the U.S., views shared by 29% of Independents and 15% of Democrats.
Twenty-nine percent of Americans think Obama "probably" was born in the U.S., and only 42% are certain he was.
The Republicans have given Obama a gift with the birther issue. And now that Obama's popularity has taken a bit of a hit, what better time than to release this.
There will still be many conservatives who will question whether or not he is a citizen, which will in turn make conservatives seem kooky. It will also quite possibly be thrown in the faces of the Republican candidate in 2012.
This issue is a huge turn off to average Americans who are sick of it. The birther issue will continue to be a thron in the side of Republicans as Obama has stuck the thorn in even deeper by doing this.

For 3 years now we said that even if he did get the Hawaii Department of Health to MAKE AN EXCEPTION TO THEIR POLICY, and release a copy of his long form birth certificate, IT STILL WOULDN'T MATTER to the birthers.
Exactly. And not a single mea culpa from any of them.
How anyone honestly believed that no one did their due diligence to prove that this man was eligible to run in the first place is totally beyond me.
How is anyone that stupid?
Gee, so what platform will Trump et al. 'run' on now?
"Mea culpa"?
Why?
Because he spent more than two years acting like he had something to hide when could have simply released the document in 2008?
The only reason he's doing this now is because Trump forced his hand.
Had Trump not gone after him on this issue, BO would be sitting on the document and continuing to act as though something were amiss.
If the birthers harshed your mellow, remember it still takes two to tango.
Hopefully this dumb issue can die now...and take Trump with it.
