Those folks won't let go, it will need to be something else. The good thing though is that some of the folks who doubted the stories but thought they just might be credible will let it go, so the numbers will go down.
I don't understand why they don't criticize Obama for credible issues. It's not like he is infallible. Obama has made mistakes. When you have the opportunity to criticize Obama for the war, GITMO, the stimulus and Obamacare, you have people who would rather discuss his birth certificate. It is truly embarrassing to the Republican party and the conservative movement. All this is doing is helping Obama by making his opposition look like a bunch of lunatics. Even the Republican leadership has not openly rejected the birther movement. However, you will see that change in hurry. Watch Cantor do an about face and call out the birthers now.

Proof - Funny thing, that.

Even Karl Rove, whom I personally cannot stomache, but at the same time have to admit is a political genius, shakes his head over this. It makes the GOP look like a bunch of goobers.

Many conservatives and Republicans are claiming the movement is embarrassing to the party. For the record, I'm not an Obama supporter. I can think of many more legitimate topics to criticize Obama for as his perpetuation of the war, his failure to close GITMO, Obamacare and his stimulus bill. However, this birther issue is embarrassing to Republicans and to American politics. This was truly a National Enquirer topic that occupied too much of our time when more important issues were pressing.

And if people continue to question his citizenship even after this evidence, I think it's fair to say the issue was never about his citizenship but merely a cheap ploy to criticize Obama or that a certain percentage of the population are psychologically impaired and have some degree of paranoid schizophrenia. If you are a Republican and want to see Obama lose his re-election effort, it is best to move past this birther movement because all it is doing is hurting the party. Credit Fox's Bill O'reilly who criticized the movement when Hannity, Beck and most conservative media were supporting birhters. O'reilly said Republicans need to move past this and it was hurting the party's image. It looks like he was right.

I want to see the actual form SIGNED by the DOCTOR. This is another "substitute" form.

Oh we can add to that. Arizona Governor Jan Brewer even called out the Birther movement. That is a sign that perhaps they should give up that tactic to attack Obama.

No, because idiots are still trying to put up ridiculous conspiracy theories like "The CIA fabricated it" or "The race of the father is listed as African so it's invalid" all while parading Trump around like a pariah like he actually had something to do with this.

Birthers are still going to post, and they're still going to be rampantly stupid and idiotic.
