So why did you go there with the racial slur?

If folks actually understood the racial slurs they use, perhaps they would stop.

Since the country is majority white, and Obama serves this majority, he would be the ultimate Uncle Tom.

Former President Jimmy Carter

Carter was one of the nation's worst Presidents ever [that is saying ALOT], and he still talks out of his ass like he knows how to run a country [he tried and failed]. His words are like listening to Kim Jong Il on how to run a economy...

If racism was a root cause for the backlash to Obama he would not have been elected. He was given a chance, he is failing - polls reflect that people dont like a failing president. GWB was in the 19 digits for popular support...Was racism the racism behind Bush's lack of support, or was it because he was a bad President.

After this grand experience, I believe many white indepedents will never vote for another black man as President....Democrat or GOP!

White folks are getting tired of being called racist whenever the other side can't come up with answers to issues or questions concerning this man or if they dislike his policies!! Did we not have people asking about Bush's grades? His military service? Dan Rather lost his gig trying to fake Bush's service record! Was that racist??? No! It was stupid! If Bush was black, would it be racist then? NO!

AND THESE ARE WHITE PEOPLE THAT VOTED FOR HIM!!!

I honestly believe that many would rather have a white guy they can criticize without the friggin' race card being played! I think there's a lot of buyer remorse out there.

We are so polarized right now! I've never seen it this bad in my life time.

Obama has blown it for the bruthas...
No remorse, I didn't vote for Obama, I voted against McCain. Given the GOPs endorsement of Mr Ryans Pathway to Poverty, I will not vote for any GOP candidate at any level. That leaves me the Democrats, many of whom are too far right, or a third party.

Demographics prove that wrong. 2040 White people = a minority. Even if Whites start voting as a single Block only for White candidates, it wont matter. There will be plenty of non-white Presidents from now on.

A Hispanic majority will get a Latino elected as President sometime in the future. There will probably be more Black Presidents to, but Hispanic/Mexican is where this country is headed towards population wise.

It did take a majority of white people to vote President Obama in, and I agree he has been a bad President and betrayed the trust of the expectations he gave for office.

That aside, I don't agree with you. This isn't a color issue, it is a politics issue.
I do agree that it will be a LONG time before you ever see another Liberal Black person as President, but people would probably put the right conservative black person in a heart-beat.

I thought getting the first black President was great and showed there is no racial barrier in America as many thought there still was, but the man himself is a disaster and I think the American people can tell that another black person would NOT be Obama.

I think our voters can be under-informed, but I think the American people in general try and be fair.

Why don't we just wait for Obama's presidency to be over before we fully critique him and his impact on society.

lol.

I think there's only so much talk about race on this forum. Hispanics, and legal immigrants are getting tired of it, too. We just don't care about it. I think it does turn off a lot of voters.

Having said, that, I wanted Hillary to be president so badly... don't remind me

Yeaaaah.....just like the left waited until Bush was out of office before nailing him to the wall.

I disagree with the OP's assessment. When I see potential candidates from the Tea Party the likes of Herman Cain and Allen West it gives me faith that we really are a post-racial society, with the exception of Progressives fomenting racial divisiveness of course.
