I heard somewhere that Rubio was ineligible to run for president. His parents are Cuban and so he is not a "natural born" citizen.

Cubans make a very small percentages of Hispanics in the USA. Their overall percentage of total US population is approximately 0.55%, less than 1%. Outside of Florida, their numbers are not significant.

I think a Spanish speaking Catholic will make Latinos feel comfortable , I never noticed Latinos disliking Cubans .

Talk to more of them and you just might. Face it the GOP will never get the Latino vote, think about it and you might figure out why.

I think if they become more moderate, especially on fiscal matters and drop some of their anti Hispanic rhetoric they might have a chance.

I doubt any of these two things will happen, at least any time soon.

Do you have any idea what you are talking about? Why would you think that< some fell for Obama or couldn't bring themselves to support McCain, and yes, obviously if you look at the polls you would realize many would love to have a chance to do it over again, without voting for our President. I do beleive polls as a rule, I don't think they are admisistered fairly but I do think it is obvious that some who voted for him would vote for Rubio, especially the unhappy Hispanics, whether Cuban, Mexican or Puerta Rican.

i'm latino and vote for the G.O.P. but, like everyone else you don't have to always vote for a party you are in. you vote for what you think is right. you're not obligated to vote for something you don't agree with.

For fear of being irritated by the way you put "casper" after you post , like Boston mental patient Denny Crane .
Why do you think Latinos don't like Cubans and all Latinos will never vote Republican ?
I always wondered why God loving Catholics who work hard would vote for atheist abortion worshiping Democrats who publicly declare unemployment a jobs program . I think 90% of Latinos should be Republican.
