Wow! Now Bin Laden is dead! (Yawn). What's going to change?
Let me start by saying that I'm against all wars at all times.

One of the questions I've been asking since 2002 is why we aren't simply using surgical strikes on specific targets.
We have special forces in all branches of the military that are trained for this stuff.

Why are we killing hundreds and thousands of innocent people?
Why are we sending kids as canon fodder where we don't belong?

OBL is no one; the US created more terrorists during our foray into Iraq and Afghanistan and by our treatment of people in Gitmo and Abu Graib than anyone could have dreamed.

You started this thread. Please stay on topic.

Osama bin Laden is no longer Osama bin Forgotten. Bin Laden is dead. He was in Pakistan, not Iraq not Iran.

Upon hearing the news, the country is exhilarated and you are just ticked off that bin Laden wasn't killed during GWB's administration. BTW, I believe OBL would have been killed a lot earlier if we had directed our time, efforts and resources at going after OBL. But, all the neocons wanted was to take over Iraq.

As GWB stated, he didn't "know where OBL was" and he "didn't care". The objective all along was to take over Iraq.

Go ahead and change/twist the OP all you want, the reality is OBL is dead, the country is happy about it, and GWB did little to capture him and kill him.

Your post is incorrect and you are seriously misinformed.

Saddam Hussein was a SECULAR dictator. The word secular means "not connected to anything religious". Here is the link to the dictionary Secular | Define Secular at Dictionary.com.

Saddam had nothing to do with the founding of Al Quaeda or its operations. Al Quaeda is religious based AND it despises all other SECULAR dictators such as Saddam, Mubarak, Gaddafi, etc. If anything, Saddam Hussein feared religious zealots.

Al Quaeda originated in Egypt. The "brains" behind the orgazination was an Egyptian surgeon and OBL provided most of the money. PLEASE, read about it here http:///en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Al-Qaeda

Well, it's just a fact that obama benefited from the policy, methods, programs and intelligence initiated by the Bush administration.

What's ironic is obama and the Left railed and gnashed teeth about the very same programs and intelligence gathering techniques that led to the death of UBL. Of course, they only did that when Bush was in office. The minute obama took over, the railing and gnashing of teeth went by the wayside.

Hypocrisy at it's finest.

Praising Obama for this is nothing but hypocrisy. Had 9/11 happened under his watch, he would have bought the terrorists a coke.

Bush got this thing in motion.

The left can't honestly say that if this were to happen while one of their's was in office we would have responded. After all, look what happened when St. Clinton was in office and the 93 bombing happened. A big fat nothing.

Except Pakistan isn't in the Middle East. You guys need to keep it consistent, I hear Obama haters saying these are his wars and no longer Bush's, but then if something good happens it's cause of Bush.

Bush used it as an excuse to invade Iraq.
