This should be interesting to watch;

Gallup.Com - Polling Matters by Frank Newport

Even a 7 point increase would surpass the boost he received following the assassination attempt on Rep. Giffords.

So, how high can it go? 10 points? 20 points? Will he surpass Bush's 90%?

Even if, won't help him much. Too far away from the election. I don't think it will go up much, but I'll see what happens

It can go to 99%, but when people come down off of the high of bin Laden being killed, they will realize that the economy still stinks, gas and food prices keep rising, unemployment still high, and anything else that matters and his rating will plummet again.

Yep. If you read the Gallup articles, the short term ratings "honeymoon" usually fades as quickly as it came up. They cited 9/11 and capturing Saddam as examples. You could also go with H.W. Bush after the Gulf War, and Reagan after Granada.

He gets a boost from me, but not enough to make me ignore the other failures of his to allow me to vote for him..
