I'd prefer releasing DNA proof myself. I'm not interested in pictures. But DNA proof is totally above the heads of the wingnuts here on CD. They won't be able to understand it if it hit them on their faces.
Let's see if the MEDIA will accept not releasing photos from an operation that AMERCAN TAXPAYERS paid for.
So they demand to see the photos of bin Laden's corpse at the risk of backlash from terrorists across the globe? Are they willing to risk the lives of military soldiers fighting against terrorism just to the "see" the photos?
Do they really think bin Laden is still alive and this whole operation was a cover up to boost Obama's approval ratings?
No, it goes to show just how many Americans don't trust anything the government says anymore....
Sadly accurate. This administration is anything but transparent. I can see that the release of photos is a no-win situation. Perhaps they will be released in the not too distant future. Maybe Obama's saving them for a pre-election "bump" at the polls. I would not put it past him.
I can only hope that the real reason they are not being released at this time is because valuable information from the computers at the bin-Laden compound has been gathered and operations to take out more major al-Qaeda actors is in the works, that the photo release might somehow jeapordize such operations.
I think this is very foolish of the administration. They are well aware that the people no longer trust or have full faith in the government.
But lets TRY to appease some fanatical muslims, like we did by dumping his body in the sea, but in the end, it doesn't matter. They still want to kill us. But those are the people that the administration wants to befriend, not even its own citizens.
What a BS call to not release the pictures. Worry about your family first, then other people. They got it backwards.
