After thinking about it, I've changed my stance. The preacher saw people literally lining up at the gates of hell and acted accordingly.
Maybe next time they could light some candles, hold hands and pray that the DMV's computers stay up. Maybe even some garlic and holly water to ward of the walking dead (DMV clerks).
I always knew the DMV was out to steal your soul and now I have proof.
