It must be painful for them to always be on the losing and inferior side of every political argument. Driven insane by President Obama's overwhelming success at home and abroad.
You better hope that bubble never pops.

Just once it would be nice to encounter a thread that didn't inject partisanship.

Yes, we have problems, problems caused by US and not properly addressed by the last few Presidents. No need for partisanship here, both parties suck in this regard.

Yes, people makes mistakes, but it is indeed suspicious that the stories of late have changed. On the other hand, the previous President's administration stood by one official 9/11 story that was full of holes and for which somehow, amazingly, they felt no need to correct themselves. Both are guilty of lies and deceit. We should be spending our energy finding the truth rather than placing blame or selectively applying a standard based on our personal ideology. For me, it's "Just Gimme Some Truth".

For Osama, he's already being ushered into his spiritual existence just like anyone else who leaves their body. The 72 virgin belief in his religion is as silly as the pearly gates is in Christianity. There is no hell. There is no heaven. How can there be when there is no judgment except yours for yourself? The "day of judgment" for everyone is the one in which one faces the perfect mirror, a mirror so smooth the face of "God" is found staring right back.

Well, the WH has squandered a golden opportunity to make OBL look like a coward who was living in a mansion with his harem, while his moronic devotees suffer in every corner of the world to undertake their so called jihad. That kind of thing would have had the most powerful effect on most of the brainwashed Islamic world.

Yet with all the new versions of the story, it just looks bizarre and mixed up that it actually does gross injustice to the military's seal six team which made the cleanest of military ops in record time in the most dangerous place on earth.

It could have been done much better with a proper game plan. When the military does its job, the civilian side of the government is supposed to complement them and not FUBAR it like a bunch of kids mopped up the wedding cake and stood with cream smeared all over LOL Yikes

I think they should have kept their mouths shut and not addressed the press until all the information was known and validated.

By the time all the information is available it will be difficult to trust what they tell us (because it already is).

But you know...Obama's administration must always have an answer for every question right? That's what they call "transparency".

Exactly. If the secret mission went off without a
hitch we might have had to wait longer for any story.

The failed/burned helicopter left behind
forced a story earlier than they wanted to release one IMO.

Maybe try the new age music thread, this is politics which is based on debate and opposing visions for America. You can't possibly expect a lack of partisanship because both sides are at war of a sort.
One side wants smaller government, balanced budgets, reduced control of politicians and temporary safety nets for people (except for handicapped folks).
The other side wants most everything through the government, to tax the breath out of everyone and to give social programs from cradle to grave in exchange for power, the vote and a broke nation.
