It seemed a few years ago that there were people thought that 9-11 was an inside job. These theories are not talked about much today.
Were the 9-11 truthers crack pots who only saw what they wanted to see?
Did they want to believe what they wanted to believe just to further their agenda much like the birthers?
1. The 9/11 Truth Movement, as it is known amongst individuals in it who share doubts about the government's version of what occurred prior to, during, and after the attacks, has existed since 2002, and still does today. You can even check our Facebook page, nearing 40,000 members now. This movement isn't a trend. It's a group of people who share an idea and set of beliefs that question or doubt what the government told the American public happened. The theories are still discussed today even more than in the past. More books are being published, there are more documentaries, more people bringing about awareness of what they believe. As a matter of fact, in New York City, a commercial asking about WTC building 7 was run for a while, and was the subject of a non-ridiculous discussion on (yes) Fox News of all places.
2. Elaborate on "crack pots who only saw what they wanted to see".
3. I don't think there's anything wrong with an agenda to bring attention to the conflicting issues surrounding events that caused the murder of thousands of people on 9/11, and hundreds of thousands in the wars that followed. You don't?
It's not what you and the media call "truthers" or "birthers" (which are not one in the same, as a matter of fact) who make no sense in this country. It's people like you who ostracize dissidents who put into question the credibility of a manipulative government, who ought to be ashamed. Since you like to add -er to the end of every word that you think signifies what a group of people believe in order to make them seem ridiculous, I'll call you a hater.
You couldn't be more wrong. The "truthers" were/are on the extreme left.
You couldn't be more wrong. I'm on the extreme right. I make Ronald Reagan look like Al Franken.

That's probably because the voice on those tapes was an Arabic-speaking Lebanese Christian speaking in the Lebanese Christian Arabic dialect. Bin Laden is a Saud.

No, there's been recent posts here. People like you are blind or unable to comprehend or aren't interested.
Not in my experience. I've encountered a huge proportion of the "Big GVt. is out to get us!" flavor of libertarian in truther circles.
You're right. Ron Paul has a big truther following.
