1. Carmen, who is currently unemployed and at leisure to stay up as long as she pleases, witnesses a woman arriving at Jamal, her neighbor's house at 11 p.m. and leaving at 2 a.m. When she leaves, Jamal hugs and kisses her goodbye passionately. Jamal's wife is away on business. Later, she tells Gladys, another neighbor, who has nothing to do with Jamal, what she witnessed.
Is she wrong to do this?
yes she is wrong to spread gossip. there could be many reasons why jamal has a late night visitor.

2. Lexxi is the mother of 17 year old Bingham, whom she allows to have a sleepover party at her house. This sleepover party involves drinking to the point of intoxication with friends of both sexes. She takes the keys from those who drive away for the night. She reckons that the kids will drink anyway, so why not make it safer?
Is what she does right?
this one is wrong on so many levels. first it is illegal to serve alcohol to anyone under the age of 21. second a coed sleep over when there are minors present is also wrong. about the only thing she did right was taking away the keys to the cars so that no one could drive drunk.

3. Greg meets a work acquaintance, Antonio, at his household. While conversing casually, Antonio mentions he has nearly 10,000 songs and thousands of movies that he downloaded illegally off the internet for free. Greg estimates that the total market value of the illegal downloads amounts to at least $15,000. He backs up most of his illegal downloads on a new USB hard drive that he often brings to work and leaves in the open.
Should he report his activities to the local police department, the MPAA, and the RIAA? Should he take his hard drive and bring it to the police?
greg needs to stay out of antonios activities. if greg is antonios supervisor the only thing he can do is tell antonio to leave the hard drive at home.

If Carmen didn't have to deal with Obama's economy she would not be unemployed and would have been asleep at the time so she could go to work the next morning and pay for someone else's healthcare.

No. If Jamal is kissing another woman out in public, it's anybody's game. If Carmen was just speculating and gossiping, that would be a different story.
What difference does it make if she is unemployed? I work second shift and as a result, I'm up late, so I could also have seen the woman leaving and kissing Jamal in the front yard....

No. I had friends in high school who had parents like this.
a) 17 is too young to have coed sleepovers (IMO, that should be saved for after you move out of your parents' house).
b) Lexxi could get arrested for providing alcohol to minors. Stupid move. She wouldn't be faced with this "ethical scenario" if she had not sponsored the party to begin with.

It's whatever. I don't think it's right what he's doing but I probably wouldn't report him, mostly b/c I wouldn't know who to report it to in the first place. He shouldn't take the hard drive b/c that's stealing. If anything, I might tell the local police and just let them handle it, or find out if there's some way to anonymously report it.

1. yes she is wrong..she should MIND HER OWN BUSINESS
2. yes she is wrong...she should not be allowing minors to drink in her house( btw under law she would be LIBEL)
3. no. he should MIND HIS OWN BUSINESS

It could be his sister, his aunt, his cousin, etc.
Well, obviously it would have to depend on the kind of kiss it was. The OP did say the kiss was passionate....
"Carmen" in the story could be exaggerating what she saw. It's always best in those situations to MYOB.
