After he paused with that befuddled foxnews/christian fundie head tilt/blank stare combo I told him that I thought McCain ran a terrible campaign and made a snap decsion in picking the most insidious VP pick ever. Thats exactly how that type is. Its so scary that there are as many of them around as they are. I work with many. If they had their I would be head chauffeur. Consider yourself lucky that he doesn't talk to you. As nutty as they were before the election they have only gotten worse as each day we have a black POTUS passes.

Most Americans support candidates from their closest ancestry: the Irish, Italians, Poles, Jews.... and African Americans too. What is racist about it?

That's the only answer you get, and you should feel lucky to get even that.

We obviosly know that reasons one and two are:

1. Obama is black

2. McCain is white

That's all you needed to know. As far as the other 98.....that's exactly what I thought.....you've got nothing as usual.

Obama didn't get much more support from black people than Clinton, Gore, and Kerry did. The percentages were all very close. Black people just vote Democratic.

It helps them create their own reality and world view. Ignorance is bliss.

To me any person who voted for him just because he looks "black" and not voting for him because of his ideas...to me that is "racist" too.

Not that I care too much but I keep hearing that we are racists and that is bothering me to the point that I was thinking why are they saying that....just to hide their own feelings?

Honestly I never think about white, or black, etc...because to me the economy, etc. is way more important than that.

When I moved over here I wasn't even in favor of George Bush but in favor of Al Gore...OMG what was I thinking! I know how that happened...biased media information in Europe where you only can get CNN and CNN Europe is more socialist than CNN over here...

When we watched more than one channel (which we still do) we realized that things are different than being portraited in Europe about the USA.

(according to himself and his birth certificate his father was black and his mother was white)
yes this is racism, blacks and hispanics are allowed by the main street media to be racist, they call it pride and thats the reason main street media gives for why blacks voted for Obama!!! pride, racism whats the differance, maybe if white folks would be a little more proud of thier race the main street media wouldnt be calling them racist!!!

anyone who votes for anyone based on color or religion is a racist or bigot.

Blacks have the highest unemployment out of all the races during this recession, yet Obama's approval rating among Blacks is still above 90%.

If that is not tribal than I don't know what is.

Blacks support Obama only because they have carefully considered his policy positions and have concluded that they align with their own beliefs:
