Dr. King worked hard to manipulate America into being a country that would openly elect a black man president (which is a good thing), but what about Obama's actions...

Would Dr. King approve of THREE non-defensive wars?

Would he applaud the shooting of an unarmed man in the head and chest?

Would he approve the rapid expansion of the Homeland "Security" Apparatus that seeks to protect the State from its citizens?

Dr. King was more than "put a black man in the Oval Office". He was a true believer in "Peace and Non-Violence".

Even conservatives hold Dr. King as a hero.

...and I don't think Dr. Martin Luther King would like what he sees @ 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

Truth be told, I think Dr. King would support Dr. Ron Paul.

A new stupid low. In what lunatic universe is MLK a conservative? In what universe would MLK support legalizing racial discrimination against Blacks.

MLK supported unions and their right to strike, does that sound like something Ron Paul would support?

First, this "dead guy" happens to be a National Treasure.

Second, how come a critical discussion of Obama's policies is called "bashing" but a critical discussion of Bush's policies is called "telling the truth about Bush and his Cabal"?

The principles of non-violence that King gave his life for should be something our president will embrace.

After all, Mr. Obama has claimed repeatedly that King's writings inspired him and helped him form his own political philosophies.

Obama is no MLK, but neither is Ron Paul. Anyone who thinks otherwise is an idiot. Did Ron Paul vote against making MLK an official holiday? Voting no would mean he doesn't see him as a "National Treasure"

The grammatically correct word was "why" not how come

King was a conservative! Mid-century Southern, black preachers weren't exactly pot smoking hippies after all.

Ron Paul does not support legalizing racial discrimination against blacks. He supports freedom and liberty for all (just like Dr. King).

And when exactly did Ron Paul say he didn't support people's right to strike?

Only MLK could answer those questions.

Thanks for the English grammar lesson.

I'll try to limit my grammatical errors in the future so that you can continue to focus on this discussion...

...if you dare.
