If 4 out of 100 rapes are of men, that means that 96 out of 100 rapes are of women. If the men report none of those rapes, and women report 40 of those rapes, that means that of the 100 rapes occurring that are not reported, 56 are of women, 4 are of men. Therefore, the vast majority of unreported rapes are of women, not of men. YOU said the opposite. YOU are wrong.

Rape should be treated no differently than any other serious crime.
We'll have to agree to disagree on this point. The very nature of the crime is very intimate, often evokes a lot of guilt in the victim, affects future intimate relationships, brings with it a lot of harsh criticism. Recovery should be dealt with privately.
