This is the position the United States should have taken long ago. The situation in Palestine, especially Gaza, is a humanitarian crisis, largely to due constant Israeli invasions, oppression, and embargoes.

A two state solution is the only answer to peace in Palestine, and so far Israel has been unwilling to negotiate, even though 750000+ Arabs were displaced in 1947 to make room for a Jewish state.

Makes a lot of sense from Israel's perspective.

http://www.nytimes.com/2011/05/06/wo...estinians.html

"One day after celebrating a landmark reconciliation accord for Palestinian unity, Khaled Meshal, the Hamas leader, said on Thursday that he was fully committed to working for a two-state solution but declined to swear off violence or agree that a Palestinian state would produce an end to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict."

"He defined that as “a Palestinian state in the 1967 lines with Jerusalem as its capital, without any settlements or settlers, not an inch of land swaps and respecting the right of return” of Palestinian refugees to Israel itself."

All very reasonable, I can't understand why Israel finds it hard to negotiate with Hamas.

Your posts were full of hot air, I posted actual statements from knowledgeable and a credible sources...what did you post??..$40.00 gal gas and the investor's view of the world!!..gee, thanks for playing but you lose.

Your "opinion" holds no legitimacy, why would I waste my time answering it..

It's about as "informed" as your posts on what will happen to this country if we stop kissing Israel's back side.

No more propaganda, I'm done for the night.

Doesn't it take two to "negotiate?"
What are the Palestinians offering?

Do YOU have any idea what goes on in the world outside America? I would suggest doing some research. Propaganda in college...not quite...a little knowledge of history is sufficient.

Too funny, you have been proven wrong time and time again. It's been fun. Nighty night again.

The Palestinians under Yasser Arafat recognized Israel as a state! They are offering to form two independent states under the 1967 boundaries.

This simply means that Gaza, West Bank, and Golan Heights would be Palestine...the remainder Israel.

But, Israel, which invaded these territories in 1967, claims that they are vital to nation security and refuses to leave. (Despite a UN resolution telling them to to just that)

No matter what you do, you could give them all of Israel, and they would still be screaming kill the jews.
