spending - it's catching on - and it makes me

Ha! Libertarian. I don't think that I needed a quiz to tell me that, though. Freedom first. I feel like the questions were framed by someone who believes that only 9% of the population are Liberatarians, though. I wanted to pick "C" for a bunch of them.

I am Post Modern which makes sense. I consider myself to be a moderate Democrat. I am on the wrong side of 30 (33) and I don't live in the North East or the West (Omaha, Nebraska), and I don't watch The Daily Show but I am big Colbert fan!

What They Believe

Generally supportive of government, though more conservative on race policies and the safety net

Strongly supportive of regulation and environmental protection

Most (56%) say Wall Street helps the economy more than it hurts

Very liberal on social issues, including same-sex marriage

One of the least religious groups: nearly a third are unaffiliated with any religious tradition

Favor the use of diplomacy rather than force

Who They Are

The youngest of the typology groups: 32% under age 30

A majority are non-Hispanic white and have at least some college experience

Half live in either the Northeast or the West

A majority (58%) live in the suburbs

63% use social networking

One-in-five regularly listen to NPR; 14% regularly watch The Daily Show

When I put in what I identify myself as (as a voter) it came up "Staunch Republican". When I omitted that, it came up "Libertarian.

I am VERY fiscally conservative, but on social issues, I'm not. I'm pro-choice and could care less if gays marry, etc. I just want people to be happy socially.

So, I wonder which it really is?

Post-modern, though I don't fit the demographic well. I'm over 60, religion IS important to me (which is why I get angry at those who bash Christianity), never heard of the Daily Show.

Post Modern, though some of the questions weren't appropriate. How well off I am financially is no measure of political stripes.

Oh, and I don't think like the majority (56%) of Post Mods that Wall Street helps the economy more than it hurts. I'm exactly the opposite. And I don't listen to NPR or ANY radio for that matter. It's nice to see I'm with the youngest grouping 'cuz I'm in my 50s!
