Personally, I didn't and still don't care. It's hilarious that some people think that it's supposed to be a "cornerstone in American history". In what way? It won't stop terrorism. It won't change the fact that the American military will still be in the Middle East for years to come. Just my two cents.
Kind of let down. We need to find something new to hate, because this feeling sucks. The Soviet Union collapsed and until 9/11, I felt pretty empty not having something new to hate and consider the ultimate evil in the world. Enter Osama and the feeling returned! Now that Osama is gone, who will fill that void?
I'm glad we got him not happy he was under our noses for six years after all the money we spent pumping up the Pakistani government! Nothing is going to change from a safety level, for the US,they still and will try to kill us!
Given viewing patterns of network TV broadcasts over the last decade or so, don't you think this suggests a potentially boffo new show? "WHO TO HATE NOW?" (with a panel of Your Favorite Celebrities) where viewers get to vote on America's next Enemy Number One.
I don't care he is dead. But it is a bit sad that dozens of innocent people lost their lives in those recent retaliation attacks by the AQ. We tend to to forget that every one of those people we have never seen or heard of is just as much of a human as Obama or Böhner...
