it is a shame when someone goes through life, looking at everything they see as either liberal or conservative... sorta like the person that is always noticing and pointing out the race of someone... I usually assume they are a closet racist.
oh yea... and Gore is one of the whitest dudes I've ever seen
not sure that is entirely correct.... snopes.com: Al Gore's Energy Use read through to the end. that 170 times is actually 12 times, BEFORE the upgrades. and of course Gores house is 10 times bigger that the average house.

He's right when he say's we need to get off our oil addiction, but we need to drill just to service his.
That snopes hasn't been updated since Gore bought his brand new Cali on the Beach Mansion. You know, the multi-million dollar mansion at sea level...
on the beach... the beach that is going to be under water in 10-15 years... cough
With 6500sq ft, nine bathrooms, 6 fireplaces (gas/wood BURNING FIREPLACES), on the SOCal grid (sigh) He's also kept the other house, the one that burns 20 homes worth of energy.
That was in 2007. Gores footprint has only grown since then. But he did manage to shave 11% off his bill (I shaved 40% off mine), so now the one house only uses the same as 17 average homes (1 house).
When he devil say's "it's hot in hell", you should probably believe him. So I suppose he must be right about global warming seeing as he's a huge contributor to it.
so, where do you get that his monthly electric bill in $17,000????

That was in an article three years ago. I'll see if I can find it for you. Is that all you focused on frm the information given? Probably the least important point made.
I'd be on your thrify list, GURANTEED
and now I'm looking to drop $$$ on solar/wind to get off the grid entirely.
I would like to award the OP the epic fail prize for not reading the link they posted.
I agree. The right have been extra looney lately with all these ridiculous threads trying to bash the left over anything. Must be losing it knowing the republicans/tea party are collapsing, and Obama will get another 4.
Congratulations on a successful thread hijack! The OP was embarrassingly wrong, but you all managed to spin this over to Al Gore and give yourself a sense of righteous indignation over 1 man in the face of a false political attack against millions.

Politcal attack... more like hack! Can't you tell the difference or do you call to arms on every post? This thread is totally false and deserved to be hijacked, although that wasn't the intention. Thanks for pointing it out though.
Um. Did you read the link that you posted? It would appear not.
Thread fail.
