There are many reasons to abolish the Fed (like what the US constitution says), and the Fed is a nefarious force in the US. The argument for sound money is a legitimate one. However, conspiracy theory wackjobs talking about a "British-controlled Fed" just discredit the entire cause of fiscal reform. The Fed is American.
