What's the dividing line between your right to be a pervert and my right to not be dragged into your perverted world?
1. Not my experiment.

2. Transvestite is an awful outdated term. Transgender is better to use.

3. I am transgender and what you just said was horribly offensive regardless of terminology.

Yes of course, but then there wouldn't been a show then.

Haha that's a great point. Your post deserves its own thread.

If your client wanted to be called Mr. Johnson and not Sam, would you call him Mr. Johnson or Sam?

If your professor wanted to be called Professor Johnson and not Mary, would you call her Professor Johnson or Mary?

Why is it any different with a transgender person who wants to be addressed as she and not he or as ma'am and not sir? How is that any more "playing along" or being "dragged into someone else's world" than calling your client or professor by their preferred name is "playing along" or "being dragged into their world"?

It's just common courtesy. It's common courtesy to respect people's preferences in terms of what they like to be called.

When you're done being offended, maybe you could give us an answer.

At what point, after most every objective standard of normal has been tossed out the window to facilitate universal inclusion, will others be permitted to say this goes too far?

What lifestyle, if any exist, are the rest of us allowed to consider perverted?

But in the same situation, what would you do?
I would wonder how they managed to have kids and wonder if they stole them. Maybe they have found a way that I never learned to procreate.

So what of the waitress?

In the scenario I provided, everyone involved knows the true sex of the cross-dressers. Keeping in mind there is no neutral position for her to take and she doesn't have the option of not playing, isn't requiring the waitress to play along an insulting and degrading head game?

If her male BOSS demanded to be addressed as Ma'am, would she not be forced to participate in his kinky sexual fantasies against her will?

Would this not be a perfect example of sexual harassment?

If something is illegal, then you're allowed to object to it in your line of work.

Gay people having lunch with their families is not illegal.

And believe it or not, trans people are also allowed to go have lunch.

First of all, this stupid "What Would You Do" show is obnoxious and borderline reprehensible.

Second, I'd let the couple handle what's happening on their end because they're adults and don't need my input.

Third, I'd make management aware that their customers are being berated by their staff.

Fourth, if management did nothing, I'd get up and walk out without paying.
